Pop Pop has been real busy lately so this page is "Under Construction" still.  I guess I will have to go over and help him get it finished.  I did a good job "building" a new bear ......so I am sure I could help him get the web pages finished.....

Create memories of a lifetime at a Bearskin Cabin.....

Travis and Tracy from Milton, West Virginia created a lifetime memory at one of our cabins.  This is what they wrote in one of our guestbooks about their experience.

 "(1st WOW!)  When my boyfriend of 8 1/2 yrs said we needed to get away I thought he was nuts since it's so close to Christmas.  But I thought what the heck, let's go!  We booked this cabin less than 3 weeks ago by chance!  On the webpage, it looked perfect.  When we got here it was more than perfect!  I guess that's why in less than 20 minutes of arriving, Travis had me sit on the coffee table with my eyes shut.  He got out his guitar and played the song he wrote for me.  I thought that nothing could make this day better.  Then when he was finished he handed me the guitar pick he was using.  One side said "Tracy" on the other it said, "Will you marry me?".  I looked up to see him holding the ring!  Let me just say, I said "YES!!"  This was the perfect place, the perfect night, the perfect time in our lives!  Thank you for this place!  We will be back!  I hope to whoever reads this, they will enjoy their time here as just as we did!"

Are you planning to get married in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge?

The Sevier County Clerks Office has an Online Marriage License Pre-Application.  This pre-application can be filled out online and submitted with payment by Master Card or Visa.  You will then have up to 30 days to go to a local office to pickup your license.  Remember when going that both parties to the application must be present and have legal forms of identification with you to show office officials.  It is important to not if applicant is under the age of 18 you cannot submit a pre-application online.

Weddings and other special events require a permit and must follow specific guidelines. If you wish to hold your special event on the Tennessee side of the park, please call (865) 436-1266 for permit information. If you would like to hold your event on the North Carolina side of the park, please contact (828) 497-1930.

New Guidlines for Wedding Permits have been Developed

Since the number of weddings in the park has increased and traffic in the park is growing these new guidelines are now in effect.
