We got here Fri afternoon. Driving through Pigeon Forge during
the car show was crazy! We won this weekend through the Aurora
Rotary Club's Silent Auction. We were so glad we won!! It's
absolutely beautiful here. Unfortunately I am recovering from
pneumonia, so we didn't get to do as much as we would have
liked, but we couldn't pick a more beautiful place to "lay
low". We highly recommend Bear Creek Grill. The food & service
was WONDERFUL. We were planning on eating at the Alamo, but it
wasn't the right atmosphere for the Smokies. We had a wonderful
& relaxing time. We would love to come back very soon & stay a
little longer. Thank you. |

We came here for our honeymoon and it was great. This cabin is
so beautiful and relaxing. We really enjoyed the hot tub and
the bed was very comfy. All the attractions were great and
everyone was so pleasant. We especially had fun small mouth
bass fishing on the Pigeon River with our guide Trey
Youngblood. If you ever want to go call 423-237-2255 and tell
him we sent ya. He's a great guy & really knows what he is
doing. The best place we ate was Alamo. The steaks were
awesome! We hope to come back on our 1 yr wedding anniversary.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. |

I was the lucky guy that booked the place for the most romantic
weekend of every year. The scenery was great, the shopping was
awesome and the traffic crawled. My wife & I enjoyed the pool
table, Jacuzzi and every where else that we could make the most
of this trip. Greenbrier Restaurant was the best and has
double-lobster on menu. I hope we are able to come back soon.

Got married 07/07/07 and finally got our Honeymoon. Enjoyed it
and don't want to leave. On our stay we went on a helicopter
ride. I could ride all day, wife felt sick at end of ride. We
ate our a lot. Alamo Steakhouse was great. We enjoyed the view
and the scenes. Life is good. PS..wife wants to try golf after
playing pool for several hours. |

My wife Tricia and I came to celebrate an early 15 yr
Anniversary (May 1) with some skiing--weather almost didn't
cooperate but we finally got to go for a bit. This was our
first trip to Gatlinburg and a cabin and Bearskin Memories made
it spectacular! We echo all the earlier sentiments about the
romantic uses for the cabin--and yes, the bed is amazing! We
recommend the french toast at Pancake Pantry with the cinnamon
creme syrup! A wonderful time at a wonderful place! The High
Definition (HD) TV was great for the Super Bowl--a game that
made it a never forget visit as well! High Speed Internet was a
must and worked great! not one complaint and we hope we will be
back someday! Than you for all the care you've put into the
cabin and ammenities--oh yes--did I mention the jacuzzi?
Awesome! Here for a bunch of festivities, 15th Anniversary,
Tim's 37th birthday, Super Bowl and Super Tuesday! Remembered
something else--we are Active Duty Military (Go Air Force! 15
yrs) and the Military Discounts are great here. ASK
EVERYWHERE! Ober Gatlinburg is 50% off! It was mentioned
earlier in the book and it is true. |

We are here on our Honeymoon. He and I both absolutely loved
this cabin!!! I had wanted to stay in a hotel but am glad he
rented this cabin. There was some construction installing sewer
lines next door. Gatlinburg & Tenn itself is a very beautiful
state. I loved our view. Just put your cell phone off so
people will stop calling! I know we have to be out of here by
10 am but we do not want to leave!!! We hope and pray you will
have as great a time as we did. Remember, in a marriage it
takes 3, U, God and your spouse. God's in there as well. If
you are ever our way, stop by the Church at Poweke Valley.
We'll be happy to have you there with us at 9am EST. |

The bed is amazing! Bearskin Memories fulfilled our dreams of a

We rang in our New Year here cooking out and enjoying the hot
tub. My boyfriend got down on one knee right there in the
kitchen and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Of
course I said yes! The only thing that made this weekend more
perfect was the snow. We are lying here wondering how we are
getting out of here tomorrow. We hope to be living in a cabin
as beautiful as this one day. Thank you for sharing your home
with us. Food City Supermarket stays open until midnight!
Blaines has a great burger! The wait to get tickets for tram to
Ober Gatlinburg on New Years Eve was over 1 hour....try to plan
ahead. The Trolley takes 50 cents a person. The Community
Center right up the street is the closest stop and you could
walk from this cabin. City Hall is the next closest. The new
Cajun Restaurant is not that good. Smoky Mountain Brewery has
great beer but they dropped food on us twice. :-( |

We were married in Louisville on Sat and came out here for a
Honeymoon. This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. We have already
talked about coming back next year. We have had so much fun
staying down here. We highly recommend the Dixie Stampede, it
was a lot of fun. The shops around downtown Gatlinburg were
much better than the ones in Pigeon Forge. I love all the decor
in this cabin, it is a cute touch. We are not looking forward
to going back tomorrow! |

see very much we loved spending quality time with each other
enjoying the relaxing hot tub, quietness & mountain views. We

Anniversary "Getaway"! We've been married 3 years today
(9/7/07) and this cabin makes us return to our early newlywed
days! I looked forward to coming here for months! As 2
separate business owners, we are Non-stop busy, but here we are
so relaxed! This cabin is amazing! PS. We made "memories" to
last a lifetime here! |

We came and were married at the Blowing Cave Baptist Church on
English Mountain on the 21st. We loved the cabin. Everything a
newly wed couple could want. The Jacuzzi in the bedroom was
very romantic. Wish we could stay longer. We highly recommend
the Greenbriar Restaurant. The food was excellent. There is so
much to do her and this cabin is very close to Gatlinburg. We
would definitely select this cabin again when we return. |

We are here celebrating our 10th Anniversary. Loved the
cabin!! We are really just 2 big kids and today we went to
Ripley's Believe it or Not & the Arcade (CJ's). Lunch was at
Bubba Gump's which we highly recommend. Dinner was at the
Alamo--good but a bit pricey. We also recommend Flapjack's
Peanut Butter & Choc chip pancakes--outstanding! This has been
a wonderful trip & we look forward to coming back next year.
Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. |

Me & my husband Dustin got married 7/20/07. It was 4 yrs we had
been together that day. We had a big Country Wedding no on
could ever believe. The isle was made of hay. Me & my dad rode
out & down the isle on a 4 wheeler. The preacher shot off his
pistol when me & Dustin said I do & then we rode off on the 4
wheeler. Our cake was camouflage. The cake toppers were me &
Dustin dressed in our huntin' clothes with our shotguns in our
hands. We had a huge keg party and tons of fun. This cabin
tops everything off. It's very romantic. We love the woodwork
and the hot tub, the Jacuzzi & pool table. The view is
awesome. Thanks for the stay. We had a great honeymoon! |

(Happily ever after) Our honeymoon has been absolutely perfect
here at "Bearskin Memories"! We had our beautiful wedding in
our hometown of Somerset, KY and drove here the nest day to
enjoy a romantic week long honeymoon here at this great cabin!
We've been blessed with sunny skies and warm weather since we
got here. And from this amazing cabin, to horseback riding at
Ponderosa, to Over Gatlinburg and then to the Dixie
Stampede--our week has been nothing short of amazing!!! We look
forward to coming back for our 1 year anniversary!!! |

It's kinda hard to know where to start!! 1st off, Bearskin
Memories cabin is the greatest! The smell, pool table, hot tub,
& etc is something we will never forget. Yesterday was our
honeymoon & we couldn't have spent it in a better place!! We
hiked the Appalachain Trail, Forney Creek and a 9 mile hike at
Cade's Cove. Today Sara & I saw 8 bears & on the 21st we saw
3. We got the chance to take excellent pics! Goc has truly
blessed us with an unforgettable experience!! We have decided
that we will be back time & time again. We thank Heritage for
the fine hospitality & beautiful living quarters. WE thank God
for everything else. One suggestion I have...Hike Cade's Cove
and expect to see bears up close. They are pretty laid
back....Phil WOW!! Bearskin Memories--is a wonderful cabin.
It felt just like coming home everytime we pulled in the drive.
Anyone looking for a nice simple
wedding here in Gatlinburg should look up Pastor Rob Bremer. He
gave us a wonderful ceremony, took pics & even supplied us with
a cake! Otherwise, I found Gatlinburg to be very hospitable.
But by far my favorite was the Smoky Mtn National Park.
Everywhere you looked there was something new and wonderous to
see. After hoping to see 1 bear and seeing 11 it really makes
you stop & think. I thank God for our beautiful country &
giving us this place to come spend time with the ones we

this you really have to do the Sky Lift and Hiking and White
Water Rafting. There is so much to do here and a week is not

Finally we did it & vacationed, wed & honeymooned. Yes all in
one--Gary & I have been dating for 9, yes 9 years. An on Dec
18, 2006 the shock & awe began! We got engaged totally
unknowing to me! He is a surpriser, he is! Kept almost till
Christmas it was out! The plan: Gatlinburg our vacation from
work (cave guide, me) (cook, him). All planned cabin, wedding
site & dress in 24 hrs. (Go Bride) We arrive on a Thursday 70
degrees outside! Did all the sites. Howards on the
strip...great! Aquarium, Cherokee, Cades Cove, etc. All
recommended. This cabin...Grreattt! 1st 2 days wedding plan in
high gear. Come Jan 9, 2007 Wedding Day, snow, ice advisory,
schools closed and I am on the phone to Almost Heaven (our
wedding planners). We are getting married you know "I DO" on a
mountain. Limo, snow, mountain. You wouldn't think! The
wedding was still on! In 2 inches of snow and a daredevil Limo
ride to the top we said "I DO". Truly an amazing day one we
will never forget! Spent here in this beautiful place with
nothing but future on our minds. May your stay here bless your

We had a great time on our honeymoon. We spent so much time in
the hot tub! We also loved the loft bedroom & the pool table!
:-) The pilot light on the fireplace wouldn't stay lit but
other than that we had a wonderful time here. NOTE: Sometimes
things happen at the wrong time. The installer of the 6 month
old Lopi Woodstove serviced the unit and discovered the pilot
light setting had been adjusted to a lower setting. Air
movement was causing the pilot to go out. A readjustment and
return to the slightly higher setting has worked perfect. No
more pilot light issues since. Somehow the pilot light setting
was reduced to a smaller flame setting. Please, if you feel
something is not operating correctly do not attempt to adjust or
repair yourself. Just call customer service at our management
office and they will sent a professional to work with the
situation. Thanks! |

Noel just turned 6 years old Dec 21. He is our joy & gift from
God. We had a wonderful time this Christmas and birthday
vacation. We needed some rest & get-away from our busy life.
This cabin is great! We truly enjoyed every moment. Great
Cabin, very peaceful! We were very happy to find a Christmas
tree & decorations. Your cabin is well decorated. We Love
Gatlinburg! And of course the Smoky Mountains! We will be

We got married December 9th & headed here after spending the
night at the Read House in Chattanooga. We've had a wonderful
time. We highly recommend going to the Dixie Stampede! Also,
the aquarium is great! Everything here has been wonderful.

We had a great time! We both are very busy people and decided

is perfect and we now want to build one just like it. Rich
decided to propose to me here and I can't think of a better

We loved staying in your cabin. Everything was beautiful and
comfortable. The covered porch with rocking chairs, the hot
tub, pool table, decorations, even the "wood burning" stove in
the living room--they were all romantic & just perfect. WE hope
