On the spur of the moment we decided to get out of town. My
husband called around and everything was booked. He decided to
look for a cabin and this on just had a cancellation! I was
weary, but what a great surprise! My 9 year old thought it was
the "coolest" place! Everything was perfect and clean! I love
the decor! We felt right at home. Than you for sharing this
great cabin of yours! We will definitely be back! |

WOW! There is definitely too much to do & not enough time! The
cabin was AMAZING! We were just sad that we didn't spend as
much time here as we wanted to! Top 5 places to go: 1) The
Apple Barn Restaurant (Pigeon Forge) You will not forget the
Apple Fritters! Try the Chicken & Dumplings, the meatloaf and
the mac-n-cheese! 2) Bubba Gump Shrimp Co (Gatlinburg) Lots
of memorabilia from the movie, Great shrimp! 3) The Pepper
Palace (Gatlinburg) In a brown mall building on the shopping
strip. WOW! So many hot sauces, wing sauces, etc. And so many
samples! 4) The Pancake Pantry! (Gatlinburg) Definitely worth
the wait to get in! Try the Pigs in a Blanket or the
Morningstar! 5) Enjoy the view! This place has so many
picturesque view of the Smoky Mtns. Capture them in your
memory, because the photos you take won't begin to do it
justice!!! We hope you enjoy yourselves at Bearskin Ridge as
much as we did. Make some memories, enjoy each other, count
your blessings! |

Saturday arrived in awe of this cute, cozy, perfect for us
cabin!!! The guys dove into pool & games as I unpacked. Sunday
we walked the streets of Gatlinburg. AWESOME! This place has
changed and grown since 3-4 yrs ago on our last visit. The boys
watched as candy shops made taffy, visited the Mirror Maze which
took maybe 8 min and they were done. Little too juvenile. We
ate lunch at a small pizza place and it was fantastic. Great
service, good food, little pricey but worth it. (The Best
Italian was the name) Monday we hiked Laurel Falls. It was
breathtaking (in several ways....lol) Beautiful, scary, a
little steep. If our boys had been any younger we would not
have made it. Many, many drop offs, narrow paths and a little
crowded. But his was our first hike. We ate at Bennett's (it
was OK, bad service) We are spoiled (picky) when it comes to
our BBQ. Tuesday we went to the Ripley Aquarium. If you have
never been to many go...it is great. But if you love aquariums
as we do it's a little too small and juvenile. We walked the
Gatlinburg strip of shops..... |

Hotdogs...yummy...loaded up dogs. Wed we took advantage of this
cozy cabin and stayed in until dark. Then we went on the
Trolley Ride of Xmas lights. Thurs Happy Thanksgiving!! We had
Thanksgiving dinner with Dolly at Dixie Stampede. A MUST! Tons
of food! Great show and great way to end our trip! Fri :( time
to pack!!! We will drive over mountain to Cherokee on our way
home to Alabama. Hope there is snow on top the mountain.
Thanks for opening this cozy, beautiful cabin to my family. |

Cabin was great! Let it be known bears are in neighborhood, the
tore open a strong trash container like it was butter. So you
know not to take a walks late while eating a snack. Rained last
few days but the hot tub go us over that. Loved our stay. Hope
to be back soon. |

This cabin is absolutely AWESOME! I feel at home here! And my
boyfriend has called home and bragged about it to all his
friends & family. We have had such a wonderful trip. One day
we stayed in all day because it rained but it's amazing to sit
on the deck and listen to it pour down! :) Today we drove to
Ashville, NC & went to the Biltmore Estate. I recommend it to
anyone. It's breathtaking! And of course we couldn't leave
without riding the Sky Lift! To the cabin owners: WONDERFUL
cabin! LOVED playing Galaga & PacMan! To the next people to
stay: Enjoy every second of it! To anyone reading this:
Praise God for all of his beautiful creations & for everything
you've been blessed with. XOXO |

I brought this journal out on the deck with me this morning
because I wanted to take one last moment to enjoy God's
beautiful creations--to savor it. After a very difficult couple
of years, it is only by the grace of God that my husband and I
were able to enjoy this vacation. It rained for most of our
trip--you wouldn't think that would be a good thing, but what
better place to spend a few rainy days!?!? I've been to
Gatlinburg dozens of times and this is my first stay in a
cabin. IT is really a whole different way of vacationing in the
mountains! We have taken advantage of a rare moment together
alone (with no kids) and made the absolute most of it--this
cabin has been perfect for us! If you take time to read this
entry, then be sure you take a moment to savor everything around
you for what it is worth. Count your blessings and thank God
for all of them! |

This place is so perfect! We had such a nice time & there was
plenty of space for everyone! The location was right near town
& the hot tub was so relaxing! We went hiking & saw waterfalls,
went horseback riding, zip lining, Tenn Smokies Baseball game,
Hillbilly Golf. I saw a bear at Cades Cove! We definitely hope
to come back XO |

Very quiet and very homey. Had a nice time. I love the
mountains and I try and visit every year around this time. I
like staying in different cabins so I will have a new experience

more home like feeling instead of very wide open and I enjoyed
the experience and than you for sharing your home. |

We have thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here in Gatlinburg.
This cabin served as a great home base for all of our
adventures. My boys loved the game room in the evenings. We
especially enjoyed the hot tub after the hikes. Our pool in
Florida is not warm enough yet to swim in, so this was a great
treat for us. The wireless internet was also a bonus--allowing
us to research even more about the area attractions. We hiked
each day. Our favorites were the Cosby Nature Trail & the Bud
Ogle Trail--lots of bridges, river crossings & were covered in
our Scavenger Hike Book. We also hiked Laurel Falls but this
was too stressful with the boys & the steep dropoffs. I was
glad to be on level ground after that hike. We are avid golfers
so we had to go to Putt-Putt each afternoon. Davy Crockett on
US441 was great as was the place on the hill behind Ripley's
Believe It or Not. Hillbilly Golf was closed on Wednesday when
we tried to go there. We'll try that one next time! Calhoun's
Restaurant was great southern cooking & very comfortable
w/kids. The...... |

We have been coming to the Smokies for 10 years. We prefer to
stay in Gatlinburg and have stayed with several different cabin
companies. This by far is the best cabin we've ever had. The
greatest aspect is that it was well-maintained and super CLEAN!
Everything in working order and very quiet--the most quiet place
we've ever stayed. We have favorite traditions we've repeated
through the years: The Roaring Fork Drive & hikes, shows in
Pigeon Forge, Laser Tag & go-carts, eating "Ogle Dogs" on the
strip in Gatlinburg (best corn dog you'll ever have--make sure
to get it right out of the grease), riding the Sky lift, people
watching and much, much more. One funny thing--we say every
time we come that we're going to play "Hillbilly Golf" but we
always run out of time! I guess we'll have to wait 'til next
time again! As for my very favorite memories, they are always
the same, and always free of cost:--the smell of pine trees,
--the sounds of the thrush, blue jays & chickadees in the
morning, --waking up to a winter wonderland with everything
covered in...... |

beautiful Bearskin Ridge. If you should read this journal

Recommended hikes in order: 1. Little River Trail--easy,
beautiful, flat & wide. 2. Rainbow Falls Trail--strenuous,
rocky path. 3. Appalachian Trail (north from Newfound Gap
toward Sweat Heifer Trail). The Little River Trail loosened our
legs & prepared us for the challenging Rainbow Falls trek. On
Rainbow Falls two log bridges (with hand rails) are easy to
cross--the climb is very challenging/rock-filled after Rainbow
Bridge. The Appalachian Trail was a breeze. All three trails
offer beautiful views! River & rapids, waterfalls,
breath-taking vistas, respectively. WARNING: When visiting the
Fudgery Shop, do not buy more than your body weight in fudge, no
matter how good a sale there is! Also, Cataract Falls, near
the Park Visitors Center , is very pretty & and easy walk for
all ages & sizes. Cabin--very tasteful
decor! Not much "pink & lace" like
another cabin we stayed in :), comfortable, great 2 person
rocker on top deck, very helpful to have the
WIRELESS (loved
that), and VERY CLEAN!!

What a great way to spend time and bring in the New Year with
family at this "home away from home." The cabin is beautifully
decorated with a cabin in the mountains theme, great game room,
hot tub, internet, fireplace, relaxing and cozy. It started
snowing last night which made or stay even better watching it
snow in the mountains. The cabin is more beautiful in real life
than it is on the web sites. All we needed was our food,
drinks, clothes and personal items, everything else is here or
just a few minutes away. This place is the cleanest, nicest
cabin we have ever stayed in in. We hope to come back and stay
here longer. We will tell our friends about it. Thanks, Debbie

awesome! Happy New Year to Everyone!!! 2008 |

We had a wonderful time! We have been coming here the week
after Christmas for 22 years and this is the best cabin yet! We
loved the Christmas decorations, that was a first and quite
pleasant. Enjoyed the extra cable channels and well as the
WI-FI. Hope all who stay make some wonderful memories as we
always do! For a good steak, we always enjoy the Alamo and who

Thank you for a wonderful place to vacation! We all thoroughly
enjoyed the game room, hot tub and everything else this cabin
provides. The distance was close to everything we had planned
to do. Although we had hoped for snow, we did find it on the
ski slopes--great time! We also loved Dollywood--beautiful
lights! Dixie Stampede was fun, although our seats weren't the
best (leave the preshow a few minutes early to get good
ones--your section is reserved, but not the seats). Downtown
Gatlinburg was so pretty at night--it was enjoyable just to walk
around. The kids liked Ripley's Haunted Museum. The Apple Barn
is very nice too. Than you for having a Christmas tree for
us--it was like being home. The view is so pretty--we loved
seeing God's handiwork! Thanks again--God bless you! |

Had a great time! Plan to come back. Plenty of room for all of
us. Though I think we all could have slept in one of the
beds!! The highlights were Ripley's Aquarium. Beautiful and
fun. Geared towards children with nursing mom's stations which
is fantastic and rare. The Veranda Restaurant Buffet there was
great and cheap. (All 5 ate for $25 + tip) We also ate at
LaCarreta in Historic National Park Lane (I think). It was very
tasty and reasonably priced. We really loved this. It was our
1st family vacation since our oldest was 1 yr old. Thank you
for keeping your home so updated. I felt like I was back home
but with a much nicer view. |

We loved staying in your lovely cabin! It is decorated so
quaintly in the motif on your area! We also loved visiting in
Gatlinburg and seeing many shows in Pigeon Forge! Our favorites
were "Wonderworks", "The Miracle", "Dixie Stampede" and best of
all "The Black Bears Jamboree". We saw friends who live in
Maryville and also saw family visiting here! On our last day we
enjoyed Dollywood! But the best thing for me was that Rusty & I
learned that we were going to have our Sixth
Grandchild!!!! Joy, Joy, Joy! We
were so excited!!!! Than you for sharing your home away from

After driving 11 hours to get here we were happy to come to
such a nice place! The hot tub was a great way to relax and the
game room had some great Family Competition.
-RECOMMENDATIONS-**Grotto Falls and Laurel Falls were short
walks, but the waterfalls were beautiful. **Tubing at Cades
Cove was a blast! -DON'T SPEND YOUR TIME WITH....**Ober
Gatlinburg was a waste of money and time. We were
disappointed. **Unless you are up for a long hike don't go to
Abrahms Falls. If you do go, bring your swim suits! The
waterfall was definitely rewarding though. This was our first

The cabin we usually rent wasn't available the entire week, so I
found your cabin as a "layover" --WOW, we love it! As busy as

feel of Bearskin Ridge--the upgrades are awesome! Wish we could
buy this place, as we are here looking for our own place--little
to rich for our blood. :) Love the view--we come to Gatlinburg
because of the Smokies-- can't imagine why anybody would stay in
hotel! We will definitely recommend this cabin to friends and
family! To anybody reading this, if you want peace & quiet,
stay away from the loud communities like Black Bear Falls---just
keep coming here. :) God Bless! |

The game room is a very nice touch, we enjoyed the pool table
and I love Galaga! Hot tub is wonderful--we thoroughly enjoyed
it too. We spent most of our time doing wedding activities but
plan to come back with more family and spend more time hiking.

What a wonderful vacation! The cabin was awesome. We spent
eventful days in town & relaxing evening in the cabin. We love
the area. This is our 2nd visit here. The fact that this cabin

Recommendations: 1. Ripley's Aquarium--Awesome! 2. Cades
Cove--Best time ever! Well worth the time. Make sure to get
out of your car & do the short trails to the outskirt
cabins--more opportunity to see wildlife. 3. Dixie
Stampede--Great show! 4. Sunset @ Clingmans Dome Trail--Was

here on our Honeymoon and also was here for my birthday. Got a
lot of really cool souvenirs to take home with us. We had a
blast. We will always remember this week. We would love to

see how your other cabins are. Hope to see you soon! Thank you

We've been coming back to Gatlinburg for several years--now that
our kids are older. We have always stayed in a motel…old, dark,
dreary but slept 5. We stepped out to try a cabin--worried that
we were way out in the "boonies". It was a great surprise to be
only minutes from Gatlinburg and civilization for those
"forgotten items" at the store. The cabin is as beautiful in
real life as on the web sites. Coffee in the early morning on
the porch gave me my moments with God that I had been craving
for a long while:) The kids loved the game room upstairs....and
there was not the constant bickering among the "teens & early
20's" that we usually experience at the motel. My 19 yr old
daughter replied as we head out the door..."Utterly amazing" and
she is right! We will be back! |

Where do we begin? Your home is lovely…let's start there. It
was a pleasure to come back to everyday following our great
adventures. Our adventures, you ask? If you turn the page I
shall go on in some detail, our friends left a day before us.
We recommend hiking: 1…Alum Cave Bluffs & Arch Rock--but don't
stop there! Keep on going to the top of Mt. LeConte.
Breathtaking view, beautiful & rare flowers & the most
intriguing resort in the area. 2...Cades Cove--Bike It! We saw
wildlife extraorindaire...Vistas to feast the eyes & top that
off with the 2nd favorite hike to Abrams Falls. 3...If you are
a bit daring?! Do Chimney Tops...Strenuous but short, you won't
be disappointed. The view? Well, get up there! 4...If you are
in for a leg screaming challenge do what we did...bike all of
Greenbriar Cove & then hike to Ramsey Cascades. Worth every
muscle ache. Thanks for the hot tub. 5...Rainbow Falls
Trail--moderate hike along the river--rocky, cool & we observed
a small bear--200 to 250 pounds. Gave us a glance & went about
his business, not sure what that business may be. Arts & Crafts
shops were neat & little did we know the wildlife dig it too!
That's where we came across a huge bear 800 to 900 pounds
maybe. Scared a few folks, but once discovered he just wanted
out of there. What a treat! Finally--This cabin--Cozy, Comfy,
Nice view, tucked away from the strip, yet a stone's throw away,
met all our needs, kept us busy in rainy weather & provided us
access to outside world. We cannot thank you enough for making
our stay at another National Park superb. Can we come again? |

Your cabin is beautiful. We had a great time. It was so nice
to come back to our "home away from home." After a long day out

to have the room for our 2 yr old son to stretch out and relax.
We had a great time and will recommend it to friends & family. |

Found out the week before we came here that the manufacturing
plant where I work is shutting down and I'll have to transfer
from the area where we have lived our entire lives to Richmond,
VA. Extremely nice to come back to Bearskin and relax some.
Have really enjoyed the time off. Thought the video game was a
very nice twist, but I am not as good as I was years ago. Still
very pleased with this cabin and as long as we can keep up with
who is managing the property, we will continue to come back to
Bearskin Ridge. |

Your home is beautiful. We come to Gatlinburg at least twice a
year and decided that this, by far, has been our favorite
cabin. We plan on making this our permanent choice of where to
stay from now on. We spent our family Thanksgiving here and it
was wonderful. The cabin was extremely clean, well kept,
decorated gorgeous & the hot tub, PacMan game & pool table were
thoroughly enjoyed by our children. (Some of the adults too!

I really do not know the words to describe the place, the cabin
& it's location. It was beyond anything we expected. We are a
family of 4, (self, husband & 2 daughters) aged 23 & 13. We are
from Virginia and we were on our way back to VA after visiting
Chattanooga. We wanted to halt for a night and my main criteria
was to have a view of the mountains, sit on a rocking chair &
stay in a big cabin. All of these criteria were met and I must
say you have a wonderful taste. I loved the BEAR theme,
especially the bearskin rug on the wall, the center table & side
tables. The house was warm & felt like home. We did not plan
to stay here for longer, but we will surely come back with
friends & family. I would love to walk/hike and visit the local
stores. Keep up the good work & hope you have many more people
enjoying the house as we all did. |

This was our first trip to the Smoky Mountains. We loved it!
The cabin is beautiful & decorated so nicely. The kids loved
the upstairs playing the arcade games & pool. My husband & I
loved the hot tub!! Don't go to Rainbow Falls--not worth the 1
1/2 hour hike thru rocky terrains, however you must see Laurel
Falls--it is absolutely beautiful. Wear your swimsuit and watch
our for slippery rocks. On our way back down the trail we saw a
bear! We also recommend White Water Rafting--it's a blast!
Dollywood's Splash Country Water Park is expensive but fun! Our
trip to the Smokies was great & worth the 9 1/2 hour ride!
Thanks for a good time & for sharing your beautiful cabin w/us.
The view was beautiful! As our daughter kept saying, "It's a
home away from home." We would definitely recommend this cabin
to our friends! Thanks! |

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was absolutely beautiful.
The game room was definitely a plus for the kids. We took a day
hike to Abram Falls it was really nice and had a great swimming
hole. We saw a BEAR on the hike it was no more than 15 ft from
us. SCARY! We did lots more and so much more left to do for
our next trip here. Thanks for a great stay. |

We came to visit for the weekend from Chesterfield, VA. What a
wonderful trip! It is so hard to return to reality of everyday
life. We enjoyed everything here. The kids loved the pool
table, video games, TV & we loved our adult time as well! The
view is so beautiful and the cabin here at Bearskin could not be
better even if it was a perfect DREAM. You have a Beary cozy &
comfortable home. Thank you for sharing it with our family. We
will come back and tell everyone to do the same! There was so
much to do it was hard to try to fit it in a weekend trip. The
Alamo had great steaks (our favorite!) WonderWorks, Go-karts,
Winery, Helicopter Rides...we did it all! Loved it! Again,
Thank You Beary Much. |

We had a great weekend! It was our 13th Wedding Anniversary.
We had to find somewhere to stay that was big enough for us to
still have privacy with 4 kids. The was a great choice!
Upstairs definitely kept the kids busy. Video games, pool,
board games, music & cartoons! WOW! Downstairs was very
romantic. Fireplace & hot tub were great!!! Although it was a
short weekend it was well worth the drive. The kids got to go
on stage at the Comedy Barn to help with a magic trick. They
loved it. Great place for the entire family. We are planning
on driving through Cades Cove on the way home. Hopefully it
will be as beautiful as this cabin. Bearskin Ridge is a great
place to stay. We didn't see much else because nobody wanted to
leave the cabin. Thanks for the great visit!!! |

Wow is all I can say!! These mountains are breathtaking. We
spent 3 days & 4 nights with my husbands sister & her husband
and I couldn't have wanted to spend is with anyone else! The
cabin is beautiful, the split level was perfect for 2 couples.
We took advantage of all the amenities you have! We did visit
some great places. We drove to Cherokee, NC, made a Boyd's
Bear, went goofy golfing. Hillbilly Golf was a blast! We
frequented Pucker's Bar & Grill & ate at a few great
restaurants. Cherokee Grill, The Alamo & Craw Daddies. Ober
Gatlinburg was a bit disappointing but the Salt & Pepper Museum
was quite interesting! All in all, this was an unforgettable
trip. The mountains are ever changing & we never got tired of
the view. Enjoy & Thanks. |

We came to Gatlinburg to get married and everything worked out
beautifully. The cabin was great! The kids had a great time
playing games and in the hot tub. On the day we got married,
17th, the kids stayed at a hotel so we could be alone. We
really enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool alone! On the 18th
we got a lot of snow and the kids loved it! First time Brooklyn
has ever seen snow. This is honestly the best place we've ever
stayed in. We will be back, probably every winter. Everything
we needed was right here. We cooked out on the last night and
only had to buy the food. It was so clean and felt very homey.
All in all we had a wonderful time here. |

The Nor'easter of the year!! 2 foot of snow--no lights, power,
the van over the mountain. Very little food--but we had family
and friends. It's all good. We loved this place! So surprised
at the accommodations. Does need more towels and garbage bags.
Over all I will never rent a hotel room again. This will be my
home away from home. Management Tip: If
you need additional towels or trash bags please just call the
management office for assistance. A starter supply of trash
bags are provided per reservation contract. There is a full size
washer and dryer to wash towels if needed. If you like large
beach towels for use with the hot tub you might consider
bringing those along. |

listening to music all at the same time. We did not see any
bears, but we did see turkey and deer. We are already planning

Bearskin Ridge is a nice home to stay at when visiting
Gatlinburg. We came for our daughter's wedding and made a long
stay out of it. The leaves not turning yet but the mountain
view was still great. I didn't actually expect all the other
homes around us but after settling in I could ignore that the
were here & only look at the best view spots. I didn't get to
see any bears. But found many crafts of bear products to help
me remember our trip here. We plan to come back to Gatlinburg
nest year for our 25 anniversary. The Aquarium was the best
thing we did outside the mountain views & the Wedding. Ride the
Sling Shot @ Pigeon Forge! We love the floor plan on this house
& would love to build a home like this of our own. |

Came up for our son's wedding Aug 27th at Victorian Gardens
Wedding Chapel. Bearskin Ridge is a wonderful cabin. All our
family came back to the cabin after the wedding for BBQ chicken,
mac & Cheese, potato salad, pot roast & veg & zipper cream
peas. The cabin had plenty of space to sit and eat & visit with
family. The kids had a great time with the game room. I'm
happy about my son's marriage but also sad since he is our last
baby to marry. I would love to visit Bearskin Ridge again.

on the Internet & it is wonderful for all. Scenic view,
peaceful & spacious with privacy inside & out. We will make
plans for a future visit. Than you for sharing all. |

Loved Bearskin Ridge! It was our first trip to the Smokys. Had
a great trip. I could sit on the balcony & enjoy the view
forever. Kids loved the pool table & Packman. Calhoun's was a
good spot for dinner. Don't go to Blaine's--Pancake Pantry was
excellent. Try the corn meal pancakes. Kids had fun at NASCAR
Speedway but long lines. Hillbilly Golf is not worth the
price. Would love to return! |

The cabin is wonderful! We enjoyed the grill and the hot tub as
well as the pool table and video games (we grew up playing Miss
Pac Man & Galaga). We enjoyed visiting Ober Gatlinburg and
highly recommend the Comedy Barn--very funny! We wish we lived
closer (our drive was about 15 hours). Would love to visit more
often--this was our 1st trip to Tennessee. Thank you for the
use of your cabin. God Bless. |

We had an amazing time while we were here. The view is
astonishing. We tried to get everything in that we could by
quickly learned that we clearly did not have enough time. A few
things that I would recommend: Screamin Swing, Calhoun's Steak
House, Ripley's Museum & the outlets. Things I would not
recommend: The Earthquake ride. We will definitely be making
this trip again. Thank you for the use of your cabin. Warmest
Regards. |

The cabin was so much above our expectations. Our children were
with us and they were awed at the sight off the back deck, as we
were. We were here for our youngest daughter's wedding. I
would recommend this place to anyone. We weren't here long
enough to enjoy everything but I hope we can return again at a
time we can stay longer. The TV's in every room was a big plus
and the pool table was my favorite. OK now one downside. There
wasn't enough towels & Wash cloths for 2 couples. There should
be at least w more sets. But a minor detail. Thanks again. PS
I would like to know where I could find the floor plan for a
cabin like this. NOTE: If you ever need more towels or
anything when staying at the cabin call the office immediately!
Enough towels are scheduled to be left by housekeepers. The
management office will send more towels to the cabin to suit
your needs. |

We all really enjoyed the cabin. I was furnished beautifully.
The kids loved the hot tub and pool table. We only live 1 1/2

We came from Yale, Michigan. The house is wonderful. We have
had a great time. We went to the caverns, we went to the top of
the Smokies, the mountains are beautiful. We went to NASCAR our
last day and the kids and dad had a great time! The only bad
thing is the cost of parking, that's crazy!! NOTE: Here is a
tip! Parking on River Road in Downtown Gatlinburg is free.
During busy time you will want to get there early. At the end
of town closest to the Nat'l Park your will find a free parking
lot behind Cherokee Grill and Calhoun's Restaurants for patrons
and local shopping. Another option is to park and ride the
trolley that has a stop 2/10th of a mile down at the parking lot
cornering Proffitt Rd across from the concrete statuary
business. |

it. It is so clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table,
hot tub, view, kitchen, etc, etc. We would like to stay here
again. We have to go home tomorrow, but would love to stay
longer. Your place is beautiful! Thanks! |

try to stay here again on our next visit. Kindest Regards. |

We had a wonderful time! WE REALLY ENJOYED STAYING IN A CHALET
and we will certainly try to come back soon. We went to the

eaten dinner at The Peddler and at Park Place. The food has
been great. We saw the opening act of the Louise Mandrell

Time goes by so quickly. I made one big mistake this trip--I
shopped too much. I need a few more days just to relax. MY
NEXT TRIP TO BEARSKIN RIDGE I WILL COME EQUIPPED TO STAY HERE
ONLY. I loved the bears. I bought me a nice Christmas bear for
my fireplace back home at the Pottery. I loved the Christian
Book Stores. They had great prices, especially on children's
books. Bought a lot of Christmas presents. I will bring my
children the next trip. The fireplace was different for me. My
fireplace is the traditional one--log burning. I did not know
how convenient gas is! My husband and I had a great time here.
Thank you so much. |

What a beautiful home. We enjoyed the comforts tremendously.
It was nice to get away and bond as a family again. We have
been to the Smokies several times and we have to say this is ONE
OF THE NICEST PLACES we have stayed in--Great Décor! The pool
table, games & hot tub were a hit!! We enjoyed the shopping,
Cherokee Village, Ripley's Aquarium & the ski lift. We hope to
come back again soon. Thanks. |

YOUR HOUSE WAS VERY NICE! We enjoyed playing pool. What we
liked the most was the Ripley's Believe It or Not Aquarium. We
saw all kinds of fish & sharks. We might be able to come back

expensive! We got new Smoky Mtn airbrush t-shirts!
NOTE: In addition to the parking tip

Had a wonderful stay here at Bearskin Ridge. EVERYTHING IS
BEAUTIFUL & FITS THIS PLACE PERFECT. Only thing I don't like
about Gatlinburg is the Earthquake Ride and having to pay to
park because everything else is high we paid $5 just to eat
breakfast one morning uptown. All and all a great time.
NOTE: Here is a tip! Parking on River

WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE! This was just what we needed before the
kids return to school. We have made several trips to Gatlinburg
but this was our first time in a chalet, but it won't be our
last. Bearskin Ridge was a home away from home to us. The pool
table & hot tub were used constantly. THE DECORATIONS & THE
VIEW ADD SO MUCH to the mountain feelings. We enjoyed our stay
so much we went & reserved the week after Christmas to come back
& stay. Thanks for sharing your place with us. |

VERY CLEAN, WELL MAINTAINED and amenities were very generous.
Pool table, TV's and VCR's were very enjoyable. Could not have

Came up for a wedding with (very) pregnant wives in tow. With
due dates in March (Sonya) and between early April & early May
(Gina with twins) this is the last trip for a while and
certainly the last "easy" trip ever. Cabin is fantastic! Pool
table a great idea. The VIEW OUT BACK IS NICE, except for the
neighbors rooftops. I guess that's inevitable. Don't break
your neck getting to Pigeon Forge, although the Outlet Malls
north of town were pretty good. Do break your neck to eat
breakfast at Ma's Kitchen--it's two minutes away and very good.

We come to Tennessee with Ammie's sister and brother-in-law. We
were celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary along with their

"without the kids"--it was the first time we had ever done
that! We had a fabulous time--we really enjoyed the Black Bear
Jamboree Christmas Show--it was a wonderful tribute to
Christmas. We also loved the hot tub and pool table (especially
when Ammie's sister celebrated her birthday drinking wine) :)
The CABIN WAS SO RELAXING AND NICE--it's apparent much time has
been put into making it "home away from home". Thank you--we
needed this trip and we look forward to coming back again!

We came with my wife's sister & her husband--the above. Had a
wonderful time & look forward to coming back. We liked
Gatlinburg much better than Pigeon Forge. It's so quiet, quaint
& relaxing. We didn't see any wildlife at the cabin but
thoroughly enjoyed the cabin itself. The hot tub was great.
Pool table was a nice touch & the radios, TV/VCR in each room
was great. THANKS FOR SUCH A NICE PLACE--we'll be back! |

We laughed, we cried, we watched the sunrise from the hot tub,
had "girls group therapy" and ate donuts. This cabin is a haven
on our way to heaven! We recommend the Arts & Crafts loop, the
Village (in downtown Gatlinburg) especially The Donut Friar shop
and all the little "women's boutiques". We saw lots of deer at
Cades Cove in the Smokies. (Oh, and the other outstanding
restaurant is the Wild Plum Tea Room about 2 miles up the road
from Bearskin Ridge.) LOVED THE QUAINTNESS & HOMINESS of our
cabin in the woods. Every amenity is here (except a
hairdryer). Loved the hot tub and comfortable beds! Thank you
for providing such a wonderful ministry through this home.
P.S. We danced until our legs fell off at "The Stool Pigeon" on

Aquarium is very good too. |
