We came to Bearskin Romance on our honeymoon. It was a
wonderful experience. It was everything we expected and more.
The cabin is beautiful. Watch for wasps and hornets outside
sometimes. We have had the time of our lives. We don't want to
leave! |

To the owners of this cabin & Cabin Fever thank you so much for
allowing those of us who can only dream about having a cabin
like this--down to every last detail--be able to enjoy yours.
We can see all the thought put into this cabin & it's been very
much appreciated. Thanks. |

Well from what I can tell from reading the other entries we are
the only ones that were actually MARRIED in this cabin. Right
there in front of the fireplace!!! This was our first time to
this area and we loved every minute of it. We dated for about 5
1/2 years & wanted a nice quiet simple wedding with only the 2
of us. We are both from Camden, AR (very small town) and it is
almost impossible to get him away from home. This could not
have been a more perfect place. I love to shop so, Tanger
Outlet Mall was awesome! He loves nature so Cades Cove was
right up his alley. The scenery was so beautiful. It snowed
the 2nd day we were here but of course didn't slow me down any!
We will for sure come again and go home dreaming of some day
building our own home similar to this one. Thank you for
sharing your home & being a part of our memories that will last
forever. Married 3/25/08 |

My husband and I were here to celebrate our 9 year anniversary
and to just "get away". We were here in 1999 for our wedding
and have made Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge a vacation spot for our
family for several years. We love this place!! This cabin was
exactly what we hoped for it to be. The views are gorgeous, the
cabin is so warm and cozy and all of the amenities are
wonderful. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and pool table.
We hope everyone enjoys this cabin as much as we did! God
Bless! Here aer some of the things taht we really enjoyed!!
CADES COVE--views are absolutely breathtaking. No charge for
the 11 mile loop road which has many trails, historic sites &
many sites of wildlife!! We saw several deeer, red headed
woodpecker, 3 black bear cubs. MAGIC BEYOND BELIEF--Great
show!! Well worth the money. Try to make reservations. We made
them the day before & had center stage & front row! Awesome!
$55 for both for a 2 hr show. LAUREL FALLS--A short 1.3 mile
trail with beautiful views of the mountains, creek below and the
trail ends at a 75 foot waterfall. Absolutely stunning! OBER
GATLINBURG--We took Ski Mountain Rd up to it and then rode the
chair lift to the top. The view was amazing the day we went
because of all the snow. A must see!! CALHOUNS--Was our
favorite restaurant. Great ribs, cornbread and biscuits.
HINT: Watch for the sales tax crazy! DRIVING HINT: To get to
the main Parkway take a left instead of a right on King Branch
Road. Way shorter!! |

We're here for a combination wife's birthday, 4th anniversary
and Valentine's Day. We've stayed in Cabin Fever cabins before
and they are all fantastic including this one. All the way here
we kept saying "hope it snow in the mountains". Well be careful
what you wish for. Woke up Wed AM to about 10" to 12" of snow.
No way we could get to town but we had a full day to enjoy all
the amenities of Bearskin Romance. The local neighbor even came
to check on use and offer a ride to town in his 4WD. We have
thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and plan to return to the
Smokies many times. |

9th month Anniversary--Bearskin Romance. My boyfriend and I
have been together for 9 months. We are 8 hours away from each
other so weekends are always special for us. We enjoyed our
stay at Bearskin Romance. The cabin made our anniversary extra
special. We enjoyed playing pool, grilling steaks and just
hanging our for the weekend. The view if fabulous. This is a
great place to relax! |

We come to this area every year for the past 5-6 years for New
Years & to get a break from all the hustle & bustle. This is
our 1st time at this cabin, which was very nice. The game room
downstairs is great. It snowed a bit while we were here which
made us a little nervous about the roads, so we did not go out
that day, but no accumulation, so no problems. Had a great
week! |

We truly enjoyed staying at your cabin! My husband and 2
children, ages 15 & 11, were here from 12/26 to 12/30. We are
not able to get away much due to work and the kids activities.
This has been a very relaxing vacation for us. We enjoyed the
pool table and all the TV's. We enjoyed Dollywood and all the
roller coasters, especially Mystery Mine. We would highly
recommend Stone House Pizza on Dollywood Lane. We had carry-out
2 nights & enjoyed eating at the cabin. The layout and
decorating in the cabin are great! We would definitely come
back to this cabin! Thank you! |

My husband & I came here to spend Christmas in the mountains. I
have to say that this cabin & the views are breathtaking. We
have enjoyed our stay. We got here Dec 22nd. We hate to
leave. The cabin was so beautifully decorated for the
holidays. Than you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful
cabin. We had so much fun here. It is really a lot to do.
Ripleys Aquarium was coo. By the way Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge
was beautiful with the holiday decor. The movie moving theater
was a lot of fun (not for softees) LOL. The people here are
really nice. Was hoping for just a little snow but got high
gusts of wind instead. It is not enough time to enjoy all that
this town & Gatlinburg has to offer. We do plan to come back
again. We will recommend this place to everyone. Very Romantic
indeed. Words just can't explain how great this place is. Stop
reading and go have fun. We LOVED this place. PS Bennett's
Pit BBQ is the best as well as Log Cabin Flapjacks. |

Well it seems we're the only non-married couple that has stayed
here! My boyfriend and I decided to come here back in April
while he was still in Iraq. Thankfully he returned safely in
Oct and we've been looking forward to this ever since! We loved
the cabin from the moment we walked in and are very sad to have
to leave. We spent most of the week here spending time with
each other & couldn't imagine it any other way! Thank you for
letting us stay in your beautiful cabin. God Bless! |

We were here on our honeymoon and love the cabin. The layout is
great and we really enjoyed the pool table and air hockey. It
really makes you feel like you are at home and not on vacation.
Our only hope was to see some snow, but not this years. We plan
on coming back--so maybe then. Thank you so much for sharing
your cabin with us. Our honeymoon was wonderful! The winery in
town is awesome! Must go! God Bless. |

Bruce's 45th birthday is Dec 5th. So I kidnapped him at 12:00
pm on the 28th. I planned this trip for him six months ago. He
had no idea & was in shock when I gave him the card telling him
we were going to Pigeon Forge!! He's never been here before so
I had several surprises each day, Christmas In Dixie, Dollywood,
Steak Dinner & 1 hour body massage here at Bearskin Romance,
surprise dinner with his favorite Aunt & cousins that were
here. We have had the best time....not to mention the owners
had decorated the cabin for Christmas, the tree and all the
decorations are so pretty & warm. His family followed us back
to the cabin after dinner & just loved this place & are going to
check into renting it!!! The owners have done a great job with
all the special touches & the view will take your breath away.
Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. |

Matthew and I got married in Concord NC on Nov 17th. As our
Honeymoon present his parents sent us here to this cabin. We
have been here twice before to Gatlinburg and it was here that
he proposed. This is the first time we staying in a cabin and
don't think it could have been any more perfect. To make sure
that future guests have a great time as we did, here are little
hints: **The Alamo Steakhouse has the best steaks....go
hungry. **The Old Mill Restaurant was wonderful. **GO to the
Dixie Stampede! You will never forget it. **The Was Museum was
surprisingly great. **Turn at red light 8 in Gatlinburg and
follow signs to the motor nature trail. If you love nature this
will be a treat. We are contemplating moving here at some point
in our lives. Well, I hope you have a great time in this
perfect cabin. Have fun and make many memories. |

My husband & I got married on Nov 3rd & came here on our
Honeymoon. This is our 1st visit to the mountains and we loved
it. Maybe our only complaint could be the traffic. It was
extremely heavy! The Bearskin Romance was great! It is truly
beautiful here! We were very pleased & spent most of our time
here at the cabin. My husband is a big hunter, so the decor was
perfect for us! We really enjoyed the hot tub a lot! We were
hoping to see a bear but had no luck with that! Maybe next
time! We hate to leave but have lots of good memories here.
Thanks so much. |

We are here on our Honeymoon after marrying on Oct 27th. We
couldn't have picked a more beautiful place. The first couple

The cabin is beautiful. We look forward to coming back! |

wonderful. Everything is very well thought out. My wife and I

Went to Cades Cove and got to see two black bears playing in a
field. We will never forget that! Thanks. |

My husband and I just got married Oct 13th in Birmingham AL. We
decided to come to Gatlinburg last minute for our Honeymoon. We
did exactly what we needed & wanted to do--CHILL OUT IN A CABIN
IN THE WOODS! This place was great because we got to relax
upstairs and downstairs. We played pool & air hockey. It was
fun. We don't want to leave, but you gotta go back to reality
sometime. Thank you so much! God Bless! |

We are on our Honeymoon. The Cabin Fever people have been the
best host. Bearskin Romance has been the best cabin we could
have chosen. Top Notch. Been a long week here. Stampede was
great along with many other town activities. The National Park
you need days to go through. Made a few dollars going through
tours. NOT RECOMMENDED for the weak hearted. LOL We will be
back. One week was not long enough to really see & do all the
things around & try to relax. Enjoy the cabin, the other things
just have another towns name on them. This cabin does not.
Enjoy! |

We had a wonderful time in Tennessee. We got married Sat Sept
15, 2007 at Creekside Wedding Chapel in Gatlinburg. This is our
Honeymoon cabin and we really loved it. We had a small
reception in the cabin afterwards and we took beautiful wedding
pics from the back porch. There's a lot of things to do here.
A must is getting your picture taken at one of the old time
photo places! A good place to eat breakfast is the Log Cabin
Pancake House in Gatlinburg. There's so much to do and so
little time. We mainly just enjoyed our Honeymoon in the cabin
and did a little shopping at the outlets. If you have time and
like wine you have to go to Smoky Mountain Winery. The wine is
wonderful. This cabin was awesome and our Honeymoon was the
best! |

Really loved our stay here. Cabin is top notch! Had a bear in
the trash outside Wed PM so brought it indoors. The Dixie
Stampede was awesome! Also really enjoyed Meadow Creek Stable.
We went on a 2 hour ride and had a wonderful time. Alamo Steak
House was great as was the Log Cabin Flapjack House. Cades Cove
and the loop in Gatlinburg were very nice. Earthquake ride in
Gatlinburg is not worth the money. The hiking is good, the
strips are fun, food is good and the cabin is peaceful. We had
a grand time. |

Matt and I are here on our Honeymoon! We got married on Sept
1st up in Lexington. This cabin is wonderful! We love the
view, the pool table, etc. While in Gatlinburg we have gone to
Cades Cove which is beautiful! We saw a momma bear with two
cubs, how cool! We also went horseback riding and came across
an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. How scary! Luckily no one
was hurt. We tried to go tubing but the river was too low.
Bummer. We also went on a timeshare tour. DON'T do it! Very
stressful. We got $100 though it was not worth it. We really
have enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back on our
Anniversaries. Enjoy the cabin! |

We are here on our 2 year Anniversary. We have both been here
before but this was our first time here together. It's a great
place to just "get away from it all." It's so peaceful here.
The only thing we will do different next time is stay longer.
There is so much to be done here and so many neat things to
experience. The Ripley's Aquarium is neat and we also enjoyed
the Ripley's Museum! But the Ripley's Moving Theater, the one
where the seats actually move (throw around is more like it) is
okay if you don't mind your body aching the rest of the day. No
matter what you choose to do here I am sure you will have a good
time! We loved the cabin too! We would love to come back when
it's colder outside. This would be a great cozy place to stay
with the 2 fireplaces and hot tub! |

We got here late on 8/19/07. We just got married on the 18th so
we are on our Honeymoon. This cabin is great we love it. We
have done a lot of things while we were here. Having so much
fun. Been waiting to see a bear. We would love to come back
again maybe next year with the kids. There is so much for the
kids here also looking at buying one. We are from Pittsburg.
Would love to move down here!! This cabin is so romantic and so
much to do just inside the cabin. The owners did a great job of
decorating, it all looks great. We hope the next people have as
much fun as we did. Hot tub is lovely. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our Bearskin Romance getaway! The cabin
was definitely equipped with all nice luxuries. The mountain
view from this cabin is awesome. Must see & do: Hiking to Alum
Cave, driving through Cades Cove (we saw 2 cubs & mother
bear!!), Roaring Fork Motor Drive is very beautiful! Hike to
Laurel Falls, Sky Lift at night in Gatlinburg. The cabin was
such a nice place to return to after a full day of hiking or
just spend your day here enjoying the view, pool table, making
lunch I sitting out on one of the 3 decks & just listening to
the beauty of the mountains! We definitely plan on
returning--our adult kids would love it! |

Bearskin Romance is such a perfect name for this cabin. We
spent our Honeymoon here and we couldn't ask for a more romantic
place to stay. Maybe we didn't see all the cabins but we agreed
this cabin had one of the best views to see the mountains. The
pool table and air hockey was an activity we did every night.
We suggest playing the air hockey with more than one puck...that
made it more interesting. Depending on your opponent you might
want a face mask. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us, we
plan to come back! |

Hello, this stay at Bearskin Romance has been wonderful. We
spent most of our time in the hot tub relaxing. This is our

We came here for our honeymoon. If we had to describe this
place in one word--it would be "AWESOME". Extremely beautiful
cabin--we were very happy with the recommendation. Wonder town
and wonderful people. (A little more busy than we
anticipated--but still fun) So much to do & see--so little
time. We didn't want to even leave the cabin--but we did.
Magic Show--Highly recommended. Aquarium pretty cool. We are
headed up to Clingman's Lookout on our way back to MI. I'm sure
it will be extremely gorgeous. We have intentions to come back
to THIS cabin on our anniversary. Being avid pool player's the
pool table is very nice--quite impressed!! Again--Totally
Awesome!! |

Hello! We also have a cabin in the Smoky Mountains. We chose
to stay at Bearskin Romance because our son graduated from high
school and we brought him and 2 friends up here for a vacation.
We have to say this cabin was perfect for us as we needed a
little more room. The pool table area was a perfect retreat for
the teenagers! We loved this cabin and really enjoyed our
stay. On of son's friends had never seen mountains. He was
WOWED!! Than you! |
